Archaeological Exhibition Site Celeia, a Town under a Town

The archaeological exhibition site Celeia – a town under a town (Celje Regional Museum) is to this day the largest exhibition of the remains of the roman Celea “in situ”.

The rich history of the town is attested to by ancient walls of a Roman house and town villa, a paved street from the 3rd century and late Roman walls with a town gate.

Opening times:
The exhibition is currently open only for appointed groups and during public guided hours due to construction works on the Prince’s Mansion.
