Church of St. Peter and Paul

The most exquisite cultural monument in the Vitanje region is certainly the Church of St. Peter and Paul, which is also called the “winter church”, as it performs regular church services from the Feast of All Saints to Easter. The seat of the parish was first mentioned only in 1296, but the original church was created around 250 years earlier. The Romanesque basis of today’s church dates back to the 13th century. Its Gothic appearance was added in the 15th century.
